These books have been written in different times, but are equally modern and insightful.

  1. What is mine is yours, the rise of Collaborative Consumption by Rachel Botsman and Roo Rogers. Insightful and well written. A must for managers and leaders at any level in any industry. Watch TED's video for a quick view.

  2. The Finch Effect by Nacie Carson. Whether you are an employee or an employer, this book will help you understand the current work market and leverage motivation of the younger.

  3. The Lean Startup by Eric Ries. Before reading this book, I had an awkward feeling when explaining to partners and friends, that I avoided business plans. After reading it, I now have a socially accepted version of the same answer.

  4. Rework by Jason Fried and David Heinemeier Hansson. Listen to the audiobook version for best experience.

  5. Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. Note its modernity despite that is has been written in 1957.

  6. The Secret by Ken Blanchard and Mark Miller. Read to understand leadership and overcome burdensome hierarchical behaviors.

  7. Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey. Last but not least: a classic for anyone who wants to master time and priorities.
