Confessions of a general manager.
Today another employee resigned. Today I lied again. Lied to those employees who stay, to our customers and worse of all to myself. I ask myself: Why do I do this? I could lie again and tell you that I stay because I do not have an alternative, because I have to. Reality is that I am addicted to the challenge and need to prove to myself I will survive. I am trapped into wanting to please my manager and those above him.
